Gladiators of Communication® is a mobile speech-training game. You draw a prompt across categories like Sales, Interview, Storytelling, Debate, or Extemporaneous; speak against a timer; and the app scores your attempt on a four-dimensional rubric derived from competitive speech and debate. It's designed to make daily communication practice a three-minute habit rather than a course you have to schedule.

There is a generous free tier. Every player gets recharging lives, the daily Challenge of the Day, and unlimited retries on any completed challenge — all at no cost.

Ultimate is an optional subscription for unlimited plays and a few premium touches. Ultimate is priced at $4.99 / month, or $34.99 / year as an introductory annual price (regularly $39.99 / year). Pricing is billed through Apple / Google and is subject to store rules and local taxes.

Only one-time verification codes when you sign up or log in. We never send marketing text messages. Typical volume is roughly 1–3 messages per user per month — one at signup, one per subsequent login on a fresh device.

Every attempt is scored on four dimensions:

• Prompt Analysis (20%) — did you address what the prompt actually asked?
• Supporting Content (40%) — evidence, examples, structure.
• Delivery (20%) — clarity and fluency of your speech.
• Time Management (20%) — how well you used the allotted time.

Everything runs on your phone. Audio is transcribed locally via your device's native speech recognition — the audio itself never leaves the device. Only the transcript is used for scoring.

Yes — async multiplayer is a core part of the game. You can share a challenge to a specific @username or as an open link anyone can accept. Your friend receives the same prompt with the same timer, plays their attempt, and both scores land head-to-head with a push notification. You can then rematch or share a new prompt to keep the chain going.

One prompt goes global each day at 8am in your local time zone. Every player worldwide gets the same prompt with the same timer, and a shared leaderboard shows every submission for that day. You have from local 8am to local midnight to take your one shot.

Challenge of the Day is free — it never costs a life — and it counts toward your streak.

Any completed attempt on a given day keeps your streak alive. That includes free attempts (Challenge of the Day, Try Again, Rematch, accepting a shared challenge) as well as paid Enter the Arena runs. A single Challenge of the Day play is enough to keep the streak going even on a busy day.

Only Enter the Arena from the Home screen costs a life. Try Again on a completed attempt, Rematch on a friend's share, accepting a challenge someone sent you, and the daily Challenge of the Day are all free — none of them consume a life.

If your lives reach zero and you try to start a new solo Arena run, you'll see a paywall with an option to subscribe to Ultimate (or wait for lives to recharge naturally). Nothing else in the app gets gated.

Use the request form on our Delete Account page — we confirm within seven business days. Direct in-app deletion is coming to the mobile app in an upcoming release.

No. Audio is processed on-device by your phone's native speech recognition; the audio itself is not uploaded. Only the resulting transcript is scored, and transcripts are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. Full data-handling terms are on our Privacy Policy.

Gladiators of Communication® runs on iOS and Android. Scoring runs locally on your phone, so most modern devices work fine. An internet connection is required for account features (login, sharing to friends, Challenge of the Day leaderboard, push notifications) but the core speak-and-score loop works on the device.
